Zithromax.
Zithromax (azithromycin) is a medicine intended for the treatment of patients with infections that have been caused by the presence of bacteria – such as pneumonia, bronchitis, infections of the ears, lungs, skin, and throat, H. pylori infection, early Lyme disease, sexually transmitted diseases, and some other ones. It can also be used to prevent heart infection. Make sure you always take Zithromax as directed – it's usually one to five days in a row with some food or without. It's very important that you take Zithromax for the entire length of time prescribed, as otherwise your infection may not be treated completely. Tell your health care provider if you have any medical conditions that may prevent you from enjoying safe and efficient treatment: a history of Long QT syndrome, myasthenia gravis, kidney disease, liver disease, or heart rhythm disorder. Zithromax is not expected to harm an unborn child, however, it's a good idea to talk to your health care provider if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, since Zithromax may pass into breast milk. There is no need to worry if you get stomach pain, mild skin rash, upset stomach, vomiting, or diarrhea, as those are the few side effects Zithromax is known to cause.
